Community Read Collage Workshop - Fun for All!

Today we kicked off our Community Read Events with a Collage Workshop. Children had a chance to create a piece of art in the same style as The Mangrove Tree. Below are a few pictures of the event, but if you missed out on this, be sure you make it tomorrow when the author and illustrator discuss their art at 3:00 pm here at the library. Then be sure to head over to Gordon College to hear Dr. Sato speak about his work with The Manzanar Project. Click for all the details on those events.

Some children left their collages so the Author and Illustrator could see tomorrow!
