Brain Building in Progress
Family Fun Night!

Tuesday, April 12 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

This FREE event is geared for children ages infant through 3rd grade and their families.

Come to the Hamilton-Wenham Library and enjoy music with Peter Stewart, arts, crafts,

 and activities galore as you visit tables hosted by local community groups and schools. 
There will be something for everyone!

Explore a variety of art materials and techniques.

Tolkien Reading Day!

Celebrate Tolkien Reading Day

Friday, March 25 from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Join us for a  Lord of the Rings inspired open studio.

Create a letter, picture, or card with feather quill pens.

Try your hand at writing in elvish, or calligraphy like a hobbit!    

   

This program is open to all ages and is offered free of charge.

Paws to Read

We had a cancellation in our Paws to Read program with Tessie, our therapy dog. The available spot is at 3:30 p.m. this Friday, March 4. Paws to Read is for children in kindergarten through 3rd grade, and reading time slots are 10 minutes in length. If you are interested in registering to read with Tessie please call or visit the Children's Room.

Show someone special how much you care with a handmade card! Please stop by the library on Saturday, February 13 from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m., and use our craft supplies to make a special Valentine’s Day card, or any other type of greeting card you wish to create!

Celebrate National Take Your Child to the Library Day on Saturday, February 6 at 11:00 a.m., and join us for a special Chinese New Year celebration! There will be stories, a craft, and games and a Chinese zodiac scavenger hunt! Plus, children can earn raffle tickets for a chance to win a prize basket filled with goodies. STEAM into Science with Xenda!

STEAM into Science starts Tuesday, January 26 at 3:00 p.m.! Explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math-based concepts with Xenda. Listen to stories, learn through hands-on discovery, and make fun crafts to take home.

This program is designed for children 30 months - kindergarten, and runs on 

Tuesdays at 3:00 p.m. from January 26 through March 29.

(no class on 2/16 - February vacation week)

Pre-registration is requested.

Special Drop-in Music & Movement!

Join Lisa Davis of Cape Ann Early Intervention on 

Wednesday, January 20 at 10:30 a.m. for a special drop-in Music and Movement class!  This story program combines stories, songs and fingerplays, and is designed for children 18 - 30 months of age. Caregivers must accompany children and alternate care for siblings is encouraged.
